July 2008

The 3rd of July Barkmeijer Shipyard delivered the "Blue Sea" to Tristar Shipping in the Port of Harlingen. The next day the "Blue Sea" departed Harlingen on het maiden trip to Poole, UK to load China Clay for Catellon, Spain.

Tristar Shipping signed an agreement with Conautic Maritime Asia Pacific Limited from Singapore for the management of their “diving/support vessel. The vessel, the “ROV Supporter” was launched the 5th of June in the port of Singapore. It is a multi-purpose shallow draft utility/support vessel with a length of 50 meters, a width of 11 meters, a draught of 4 meters and 612 gross tonnage. Home port and flag is Belize. The vessel is used for dive-support and seismic research in Asia and the Pacific.

 

May 2007

On 23rd of May at Barkmeijer Shipyards, Stroobos, the Netherlandsthe christening and launch took place of the “Blue Sea”, the latest addition to the fleet of Tristar Shipping. Delivery will take place the first week of July. The “Blue Sea” is a Barkmeijer 4500 general cargo coaster.  Dimensions are: Length 89,9 mtrs, width 14 mtrs and a draught of 5,68 mtrs. The hold contents is 209601 cbft. With a main-engine of 1800KW its speed is 12 Knots, the deadweight is 4500 tons.
